Group hunting: key of success
Written By Kardis the Taoist
When I started playing Legend of Mir, I made first bunch of levels very easily going around alone and killing low level mobs in Bichon province without so much difficulties... but after reaching level 10 I started to be hungry for more powerful (and funny) mobs to kill.
My first venture in a dungeon was quite a disaster: dozen of potion used to move a few steps deep in Natural Caves... I was wondering for how much time I need to kill "stupid" monsters before taking other interesting prey, until I started playing with other friend testing the game... So we discovered how good can be to go around in group.
Grouping function in Mir is very useful because it allow you to share experience between the party automatically and in relation to your actual level. My first group was with Dupont (Warrior) and Merlin (Wizard), both were at level 7 while I was at level 10… The game gave to me around 40~50% of the experience gained by killed mobs while they equally shared the rest. We ventured in the Oma's Tomb for the first time and, surprisingly, we reach 2nd floor with ease; my healing skill was crucial (I play as a Taoist), but definitely the combination of Dupont's fighting skills and Merlin's Fireball was deadly for the skeletons we faced.
Since this time, we went around the Mir's world together (taking with us some occasional friend...) leveling up and getting skills point very fast… and also trying to go quite everywhere.
Playing in this way give us the chance to see a lot of place (running away from the third Wooma Soldier we met in Wooma Temple… :-P) and to face many kinds of monsters, getting, of course, new items for our equipment.
If I hunted alone rather than grouping, not only I will probably less experienced, but also I will get tired killing always the same mobs... If you accept my advice, I suggest you to go hunting in group as soon as you can (starting from level 7, at least you'll get the first skill...) and don't forget to take a taoist with you ;-)
