A newbie (tao) - please advise on meaning of character status values. I see in status e.g. SC 0-1 . I also see same notation used against weapons, armour etc. But I don't understand what these values 0-1 mean. For example Ring of Recovery has SC 1-2...what does it mean?
I cannot find explanation in user guide. Please can someone explain for me.

The first number is what the item will add to your minimum of that stat and the second number is what the item adds to your maximum of that stat.
So for example if you base SC is 0-1 and you then equip a phoenix bead(SC1-2) your SC will become 1-3. Every time a stat is used it's value is randomly determined between it's min and max value. So if your SC stat is 1-3, your SC could be 1, 2 or 3 each time it's used.
However this is also explained in the faq.

a little addition... being a tao, you shouldn't bother equipping anything that increases your MC... as its a wizard only stat and you dont need it... in your early levels you have the choice of going either all DC+ stats or SC+... with SC your heal spell will be more powerful, with DC you'll deal more damage to mobs... your choice
