Hey all Well we are going to get a new forum soon a i really cant wait
Even though i will miss this old forum (shes been great aint she)
i am looking forward to a bit of change seeing as this forum does not work well any more.
Only problem i can see is that all our post counts wont be there any more but i dont mind building it up again. I am just wondering what kind of forum we will get will it be a specially made one or will they use some thing like xsorbit which as most of you know with the platinum option it is really some thing special plus it tells you which members are online which is great cos you know if your friends are there. What you all think? |

I will not be making a forum account on the new vbb, i am completely appalled at what has happened to Mir since it went p2p, i will play the game because i have friends in there, and i have to admit that LoM2 looks awesome.This forum is a complete waste of my time, it full of ppl who dont stick up for each other, is ignored at every opportunity by the GMs, is actually a waste of time as the things that have been thoroughly discussed and even solved by the players have prolly not even been noticed by the GMs. Complete waste of time, as far as im concerned they can shove the new forum up thier arses. I have tried to help game by putting my feelings over on here, i may have been wrong most of time, but atleast i tried, which is more than can be said for the GM. I see nothing here only bickering, it doesnt matter what you say on here, cos there is always some arsehole rdy to tear you apart just because you have a low post count or a low level player in game. I will use this forum until new one is made, then i'll c ya. Toast: Level 6 (87%)

OhWell thats your decision Gelly did not know you disliked most of this forum as much as you do.
But if you leave how will you find out about all the latest new going on cos i reckon this forum counts for a good 80% of it.

Most of news on here is actually found from other forums and sites, i can do that for myself. I dont dislike the majority of ppl here, i actually like them, but it is badly run, and i dont think the new one will be any different at all, infact i know it.Is full of idiots, spammers, and is not read by the GM, the only news come from other sites, i dont see that this place has much going for it atm. The forum only make up a small % of ppl playing mir, i will find out stuff like the rest of the players do, worth of mouth and looking for myself. Toast: Level 6 (87%)

didnt realise you felt so strongly about it gelly, i have to agree with a lot of it, there are the people who do nothing but bicker over stupid things ,and the GMs as wellbut then a lot of the very best players come here, and any info can be found at will. plus with everyone from different guilds and online at different times. between all of us, we know everything  Member of the Lightning_Flik Fan Club  |

And i really have to laugh if they think that vbb is secure, heh, i have seen it hacked before to gain passwords of users accounts. Infact i even seen it used to interact directly with the game it was supporting.Toast: Level 6 (87%)

I don't see why they should start again. I will miss my stars and post count. I'm sure I'll miss friends that will not bother continuing on the forums too. Their P2P service is utter pathetic.If you see me in game say "hi!". |

im kinda looking forward to the new forum, just hope its as user friendly as this one is, because iv used ones which are just unusablealso i think leaving the forums bacause your post count has been removed is kinda sad. iv more posts than most and it doesnt really bother me, i think stars should be removed anywayz, post count can be checked by other players, but its not always in full view. that would also eliminate the pointless posts people make in order to get post coiunt up Member of the Lightning_Flik Fan Club |

yeah i think post counts and stars should go compleatly so every one will be the same.

Ok i agree with u Gele this game could be alot better if more care/time was put into it. each day goes by a new pearson is hacked and u can read it on the forum, the GMs in game ive Spoken 2 are pretty usless EG Cardea she didnt understand why so many red ppl in penal or how a wiz tong had untamed lol and the mods they seem 2 lock what they want but not taking into consideration if its revelant or not well some mods anyway.So really by changing the fourms its gonner probally be nice as it starts but nothing will of changed really we will still have 3/4 of the old ppl on it then what u gonner do if the new fourm fails ...make another 1 again? Vbulletin will be better in all aspects compared to this one and I doubt post counts will be carried over as you will probably need to re-register.If any of you have been on a vb mb then you'll know the kind of varied things it lets you have such as buddy lists etc.

Anyway, just wait and see, don't complain until you've tried it. Although I will miss these forums to (which are a woman according to Baggins - glad someone had the balls to check =]). ----------------------

If I complain afterwards will you do something about changing to a good forum. Answer: NO CHANCE! Why don't Mir set-up demo's of all the forum choices and then let users decide, but noooo that's not gonna happen, to much work for the Mir web design team. I can set-up YaBB in 5 minutes! Since you "should" have more than one person on the web design team then you should be able to do it quicker and Delphi only requires that you sign up, and if Mir was to pay delphi then it would be advert free! ------------------------------------------------
