ive been leveling solidly for hours trying to get to lovel 25 for the update and what happens?

they delay the patch that 90% of mir players have been looking forward to for so long, congrats, you have just annoyed a lot of paying customers.

The patch doesn't only need translation it also has to be re-coded. So far the patches that have been released have always worked flawless. There are plenty of games out there where they release patches that don't even install. Offcourse they wanted to release it the 10th, but if you can't understand that it has to be tested before they release it your better off playing a console.

This time we decided to work a little on our internal test server to AVOID any additional problem on the game. We do not like to push over the release, but there was a delay in the development. Differently from what many think, korean version and english version are really different and they need a separate coding.. not only a "straight" translation. This is why it takes so long between korean release and our release.

We delayed 3 days the release to offer you all a better patch, not for others, strange reasons.

Ok, its addictive and rewarding in the early stages of the game, each lvl offers quite a few new things and lvling is quick and fun. Now you can spend 2 weeks lvling a few lvls up and get nothing. And then when you do lvl up but if u like me u have rareish items so the new stuff available is worse than ya rare stuff so you still get nothing.....

I'm also sick of excuses from the GM's, yes u delayed the patch to make it better for us and bug free but u DELAYED THE PATCH. I think we want more than a little "sorry for the inconvenience" msg we want responce from the GM's. Ever since the start of the game the GM's have realised out lust for the game and played on it. If there were 500 people wanting to play it then maybe you would have responded to more emails but since it was in big demand u stayed stumm. Even a nice detailed FAQ or new update information would be nice but nope. This just makes me think you arnt working as hard as you could be or you are trying to keep custom by offering things at deadlines that cant be met, either way its not on.

I thought the jerky 2d grahics of mir were overlookable due to the mmorpg factor but then i checked out other mmorpg games and they all full 3d with skill trees and ways of lvling other than click click kill kill. u can be a tradr for exp points, a politician a hitman!!!!
So I think that since mir is behind the times technologicaly you should spend more time working with the people who pay you and not acting like gods.

Dear oh dear you are a bunch of whingers are you not.
Personally I love this game,lag or no lag,stolen drops,speed cheaters,hacked accounts etc etc.

g and a 3 day delay is bugger all for instance look at CS some of there patches were delayed up to over a month and when they came out there were usualy more bugs in it than fixes .
lets face it id personaly pay for a year if mir for 1 reason 30 to 40 quid on a new cd releced game over here and u get something like 5 to 15 hours of play till you have finished it heres one recent one i can think of off hand halflife blue shift something like £15 to buy (3 months of mir) and on hard setting i still finished the game in under 3 hours .....
can you finish mir in 3 hours i dont think so .

on the lag issues ive seen mir staff do more to sort these issues out than any other server admins virtualy any where from 90% of the internal staff posts ive notised that they have a real consern for these issues and are working to get them resolved carnt really ask more than that.
the other thing you have to rember most games are no longer desighned for 56k any more and TBH even in the uk where we are a lot behind the times as far as connections are conserned most of the gameing comunity is on isdn or higher now aulltho im not shure on the data transfer rates for this game the do seem to be quite high when there is a lot going on ever tryed playing quake 3 with full textures on a 56k and not though this is laggy i doubt it ;]

most of these posts make me wonder waht kit people are using rembering ive seen people turn up to lan's with pentium 90's and 1 gig hdds 32 mb of ram expecting to play quake 3 ect if you have issues then post trace certs and a rough system info then they have more information to go on and find the problem

I think this is a newbie MMORPG because most of teh adult players have left because the gameplay is so shallow and lets face it the graphics are the standard of the Amiga 500 if not worse the only thing holding this up is that it's MMO .

The new weps lvl 35 what do you mean taking the piss?
youd drather a lvl 15 weap would you? its plain and simple the game getts higher leveld as the players do. why introduce soemting lowwer than teh highest lvl? there no point, if 1 person can do it a thousand can.

The main target of the game is to try and over take Patches

as we see lvl 35 being highest lvl this patch is made for lvl 35 is people(with weapons ext)
also for others too naturally

But i cans ay id be well dissapointed if in the december patch the new continets has monsters the same level as omas. Thats why the game gets bigger monsters weapons because the players are getting bigger.

after each update, a higher level is classed as a noob. Because of there lack in (owning,doing) the updated stuff.

Im dissapointed in a late relese but hey id drather it works than it just crash my comp.

Because 1 bug can fuk a comp up forever, ok those kind of bugs arent in updates for games but you see what im getting at!

GM's are doing all they can, as you can see they have responded early in the thread. GM's arent the ones taht make it or De-Bug it they are the ones that want to make it work for us.
What if GM's didnt give a monkey, they report back sayign no buggs its perfect runns like a beauty. You download it after 5 hours or so(depending on speed) and only 50% can actually install it, because theres a bug against 56k modems or sumin, so 50% complain on forum the other 50% enjoy the game.

The 50% in game all go hunt those new mobs and all get kileld in 1 hit because it hasnt been programed well enough, so you have every gamer angry at GM's because they didnt give a shlt.

I know id liek a perfectly runnign game rather than a faulty one.

OK to get rull emjoyment out of the game id have to get a faster computer and cable, unable to get the money i have to suffer extreme lagg. and get very and i mean VERY anoyed at lagg deaths dropping SERPENTSWORDS, but hey if i wasnt a junki a year ago i coulda used that cash for new comp cable ect ect.

So stay patient and you will do ess complaining over all

Im sure the devels are workign full shifts (with coffie breaks, i now i would) to try and get these few buggs sorted.

So stay as patient as posible and im sure things will work out for the best, like i said its better they work out anoying than not at all.
