i done loaded the updated sound patch 1.1 to 1.2 with sound ages ago and it didnt work so i couldnt be arsed to fix the prob but now i want the sound, it is getting really annoying im even talking to my comp saying ill reward it with a good clean if it plays the sound help plz b4 some bad happensi own a gerbil mmmmmmm gerbil

check that your sound folder is called'Wav' without the quotation marks. if its any different than that, the sound wont be recognised

I had the same problems m8, all u need 2 do, rather than downloading it all again (which would take ages) or lookin thru the .wav files coz thats annoying and boring, so just reinstall it, sometimes it doesnt do it all and may need doin again, if u get more problems (could be different problems) just reinstall it again till u get it right..   m1metal AscendantAngels - †.Mystic.†

Stupid question, but you got sound for all other applications?Another thing to try is to see if anything else is using the souncard, ctrl + alt + del once, see what is running. I take it you tried Mir from startup and not run any sound type media stuff before playing mir, sometimes those progs hang and still have control over the soundcard even though u are not listening to anything. Are you behind firewall? Not sure if that would stop you playing sound files, but its possible if your computer is not granting the client access to your sound folders to let u play them. Am only grabbing at straws, just trying to help. Toast: Level 6 (87%)

tried it without the firewall and no other application is non essential program is running and yes all the other aplications work fine ty for trying m8 keep the awnsers coming i own a gerbil mmmmmmm gerbil

am at a loss thendo you hear the music when you login? any chance the folder is in wrong place? Since you reinstalled is there any chance you have 2 clients on your comp? Dunno if this is relevant though. Toast: Level 6 (87%)

was gonna suggest looking at your audio mixer, on bottom right of screen on desktop to make sure wav bar is turned up, but you said you can allready hear them if you manually select them :/Toast: Level 6 (87%)
