I have had 12 days since p2p where lag was simply unplayable - not merely difficult, not irritating, but where I would lag out chatting or standing still. Check out this tracert:

I have sent numerous e-mails to Mir and Teleglobe alike, this is what virtually every person in Ottawa, Ontario is suffering from. I heard Mal shout to stop complaining about lag, that she lagged, too, but I am paying and I actually have to level -- I have thus far had 1 / 3 of my playtime lost, so I am at least 1 level behind my friends now. As you can see I am no 56Ker, I only suffer lag in this game. I think I deserve a refund or compensation.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me out with this one, have someone contact me about a refund, or show me something is being done. I have never had an e-mail responded to, and I am all out of patience, I am a PAYING customer!!! I have payed for a service, provide it or tell me you cannot and give me my hard-earned money back!

They are aware of the Problem, and i can _asure_ you they are working on it from more than one front.

They are not sitting back arms folded :)

Thanks for the response, Legz, but my real question is this: can I be refunded? Because I'm paying for a service I am not receiving, as lag this bad means I cannot play, and when / if the lag is fixed, I will have no purpose in playing, since I have lost ssooo much ground as it is. I could have levelled twice already if it weren't for this lag!!

I worked hard to level up, I have been stuck at lvl 25 for a couple weeks now, cos I have had about five days in that time where I could actually leave sabuk and not be killed by shellnippers / lag out. Now all my friends have made TWO levels to catch up! Saying they are working on it does not help me, I already cannot make up for the loss of exp if the lag were to quit now, and I have no sign that it will improve soon. This is only the second response I have had from mir staff regarding measures to improve lag, it was the same thing, they are working hard to fix it. Well, I am not seeing results, only a huge problem that is getting WORSE! What do you mean they aren't sitting back arms folded???? They have my money, nothing has been fixed, nothing has been stated? They haven't shown that they are doing a single, solitary thing... they took my money and that was the end of their concerns. I DON'T WANT TO PLAY A GAME THIS LAGGY, WITHOUT ANY REGARD FROM ITS STAFF, I ALSO DON'T WANT TO PLAY WHEN ALL MY PROGRESS RELATIVE TO OTHERS IS GONE!!!

If the lag is fixed in the next patch, and I am able to provide screenshots (date and level provided) and trace routes for each day of unplayable lag, will I be compensated in exp? I doubt it. Will I be given the month free? I doubt that also. Will the lag be fixed? I very much doubt that as well. What would you do in my shoes?

As I see it I now have two options:

1.) Attempt to retrieve payments, for unused time (which is quite a bit of this month and the then the next two).

2.) Or, even more favourable, sell my character before everyone catches up, so then I can pay for the time I purchased, and make some money because I have wasted so much time getting this far with no hope for further progress.

Well, everyday this week another 100ms minimum has been added to my lag. So are you guys actually doing work? Cos one might expect to see progress and improvement, my lag is almost to 2000ms now!!! Even if you are working on it, WTF does that matter at all, I am PAYING so that I can PLAY, results, not excuses. This patch better get me back below 500ms, which in itself is laggy as hell, but tolerable.

Please someone respond and help us this blows!!!!!!!!!!! The game that we are paying for doesnt work and noone wants to help us!!!!!!!!!!For Gods sake at least email us and tell us whats happening. I am gonna cancel payment if this is not fixed soon!!!!!!!And i think we should get a free month because LOM is unplayable right now!!! Please fix or post or something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well 2 b honest i think its u not mir. B4 p2p i had fairly bad lag, but now i dont have hardlyn e at all, some has 2 b acceptable as it is being played over the net. I dont have an amazing ASDL line i have a normal 56k modem, so its proberbly ur isp

You are wrong apb. I have had 3 cable techs out here doing tests and everything works fine but LOM. Its not ISP its LOM servers. We wouldnt all be having problem if its our ISP, unless we all used same ISP provider which i doubt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I am also from ottawa. I have never experience this bad of
a lag since the network problems on the 26. Now i cant barely
move without stopping every few steps for 5-10 seconds, while every
other characters are moving smoothly around me. Can u plz tell me
any tips to fix this problem because i am losing alot of playing
time that i have payed for.

Rathman dont lose any sleep waiting for an answer because the GMs dont care about us!!!!!!!!!!! They dont reply, email, or anything. LOM has become a waste of time and $$$.

Ppl just keep asking the same questions, and the the answers are rarely listened.

It's not YOUR ISP it's one of WEMADE's ISP's. (Not their servers!)

They are working on it on more than one front.

and about the refund .... yes u pay n expect lag fixed but A REFUND ur either realy poor or a tite arsed old git

Legz, this is only the 4th time any mir staff has responded to my complaints EVER, I have been making certain that I send numerous e-mails everyday and pester you guys like hell. I have never heard mir staff admit it was their own ISP, thats a start. Here's the rest of what we need: refunds. We are not actually paying to hear 'we are working on it' and 'we lag, too, stop complaining (Mal)', we are paying for a service. You have failed to provide this service, and so we are essentially paying for nothing. No offense, but so long as I can't play I don't care if my money cured cancer, it hasn't provided me with the service I agreed paymment for. APB001, would you actually LOOK at the tracert, b/c you can plainly see where the problems arise.... Teleglobe. The instant I attempt to connect to them I lag out twice, then their servers add about 1000 ms, followed by 100 ms increments after that (most days). How about an analogy: you pay me to be driven around in a limousine for an evening, but the limo breaks, and I don't say a word to you and still charge you for the evening, when we lasted a couple hours instead. You would probably want a refund. Well, same sort of situation, they offer a service and fail to provide by no fault of my own, and then fail to respond to me at all for a couple weeks. By which time, I have been able to amass a grand total of 5% from playing from 2 to 3am a couple nights when the times dropped to about 800ms (with 250 users on!). Its not feasible for anyone to play at 3am, and I should be able to play anytime I want, the exception being a couple peak hours of the day, perhaps. I payed for 3 MONTHS, not 91 hours at a time when I need to be asleep.

legz isnt mir internal staff, remember that.

as for refunds, ive no idea as to whether theyre legally binded to do it. you will haveto read the terms of conditions that you agreed to before handing over the monies for p2p.

if theyres nothing in there, then well..
