For those that do not already know, I have left 5th Element and have joined Elite. I felt I needed to post as to why before all the speculation starts especially the way things are on the forum at the moment. It was a very hard decision and in the end, my own selfishness won the day! I have decided I need to level faster and own some of these really rare items everyone else seems to have! I miss ZT KR and the types of drops I`ve seen there and I miss the regular hunts that I had with DiabloDoom and co. It`s tough when you have great friends in all Guilds and despite being a member of many of them, I have always tried to stay on good terms with the players that make up this server.
With things the way they are, I felt it best to make a decision now that I`ve been pondering for a little while. Last thing I want is to be accused of being a glory hunter desperate for Sabuk as has been implied in other posts - In fact, I fought for Sabuk and then left, giving it all up again the following day. Almost like LordNicoN except I left Sabuk a winner (LOL)
I wish all my pals in 5th all the best and i will remain mates with them coz they`re worth it!
But now I have chosen the guild I want to be in and shall continue levelling as normal and enjoying the game as it should be with my other m8s.

How sad! Fact time - you quit the outlaw coz you couldnt handle it and you jumped ship for easy access on guild pressure. Now you jump ship yet again but this time for items sake. I left Outlaw after 10 days as guild Leader. I never asked for the post but did everything i could in the time i was there. I had no GL experience and considering the circumstances, I don`t think I did too bad! The reason I left was the sheer amount of my time that the role took up. I was not ready for that type of commitment. I make no aspersions or have any delusions of Grandure. I tried it, couldn`t do it, moved on. You don`t see me shouting about `leading the most powerful Guild on Phoenix`. I also live for today, not just locked up in a cave soloing away and living on reputations formed by rastilin many months ago??
I now move again DESPITE being in a Guild that owned Sabuk, in order to improve myself in levels and items. Did I get it wrong then m8? is that not the aim of this game then? Am i s`posed to stay at this level and just wish I had better items or get my arse out there and get them??

Your post just proved what I said is true - hence the term 'fact'. You just said in not so many words the exact same thing I said.But I give credit to you, you did try, and I know the reasons and there were a lot of bad reasons connected to you leaving I understand that. But it wouldve made more sense you staying to help TheOutlaw knowing too well that you had planned to leave for Elite beforehand. But that again is your choice, even though it proves what I say is true is besides the point. You did your best, shame things didnt turn out better for you. No I cant blame you for wanting the best items, the game is here to try and urge you to get them. Be it yourself or within a guild. I wish you well and Im sure we'll cross paths again - I hope there are no bad feelings as I dont hold any regarding you. My comments made were in reference to the gaming side not a personal side. How could I not respect a guy that likes Iron Maiden ffs? lol Anyway...good luck and I hope you and DD kill many more Mr Ts in the near future together. ===================

We`ll put it down to frustrations of war in that case! There will always be arguments and disagreements but very few last past the day they are posted. I harbour no bad feelings to ANYONE on this server as I take everything in the context it should be - a game and a gaming forum! I think it could even improve the server if players were completely honest with themselves and acted on their own needs. There`s plenty of great drops out there to be had and I`ve got my eyes on something special! At the same time, there are people who join a guild for certain benefits and that`s what helped Outlaw decline in both numbers and quality. People clambering to have the name `sabuk wall` after their own name. how many times have you seen people join a Guild and within hours are asking what items they can use?
I know what I want and I know the best way I can achieve that and have the maximum amount of fun at the same time. I intend to go back to making this game fun instead of the chore it has slowly become.

Hi Marsh,told ya yesterday that my Heart is bleeding if you leave but i can understand your move. Fair enough to tell all why you left. Fizzlefinger found the right words and I really can't add more. We are still m8s and I don't care which Guild you are in, I'll always hunt with ya as long as you play fair :) LordNicon, sometimes it's better to keep the mouth close. I think the thing that matters here to me as an Elite member is what do you bring to the guild? Loyality, supportive, helping members, following guild rules, a fun player. If so welcome to the guild m8.
In my experience, the Elite, Petroni, is the only guild leader I've seen go out of his way to help "ALL" members upgrade their items. Not just a select few friends or high leveles. Yet I wonder how many of these ppl will do anything for the guild in return?The main reasons I joined Elite in order of my priority were/are:
Petroni, stand up guy that helps all people
Upgrade my items
Find some good ppl to hunt with with similar styles
Do WT/ZT/ST So far I've only been pleased with his actions as a leader, I haven't upgraded any items yet although he has a ring waiting for me if we r ever in town at the same time. lol I'll add that we have our share of questionable players but we get asked by Pet before he lets anyone join the guild. It is a guild decision not based on money or taking Sabuk or anything else. If more guild leaders were like him Mir would be much more enjoyable. Don't know what the future holds for me keep playing, quit stay with Elite or move on to another guild. Whatever hats off to Petroni for doing the right thing. Also add that Elite's policy of not PKing is policy. I haven't seen or heard of any elite players running around red or yellow as many of the higher level players on Mir are. So many guilds talk the talk but don't walk the walk. As long as Pet is guild leader I'll probably stay. I'll also add seems like DD is a stand up guy from what I've seen and heard.

Thanks for the support everyone. I have always held Petroni in the highest regard and as DiabloDoom will tell you, Elite was always on the cards for me really. i have never had a bad reputation on this server to my knowledge and will always give 100% to the Guild. i look forward to hunting with you all (ex-guild m8s too!) and proving that taos can be as formidable as any warrior whilst keeping SC to a frightening level!
