You are bang on! A rewind IS required, but compensation for exp, and gold is a must also! I spent 8 hours playing on saturday to get my warrior to level 27, and I ain't doing it again! I charge £40 per hour for the work I do, If I hadn't been playing on Saturday I would have been earning money instead, so what do they want to pay me? £40 per hour for the 8 hours I lost? or some virtual gold and exp that I earn't already? 5 days is pathetic!

There is no easy way to disentangle the mess caused here. I personally would rather have called it a freak occurence in the Mir economy and kicked the hackers off, and left it at that. I also accept the the decision to rewind has a lot of valid reasons, despite that it has annoyed a lot of people. They must have had very good reasons to do this as they put themselves 5 days back on getting repeat subscriptions from every single P2P player, and risk losing people with the upset caused. This is not a decision that would have been taken likely. I feel that we have to take that this HAS happened and ensure that none of us would be qilling to cause this outrage for our friends. Anyone that is frustrated at the rewind, just help the rest of us police the system and stop anything this catastrophic happening again."And then the stars fell, and the heavens were left shrouded in darkness" |
