Personally a Mir wide spawn would have been better as it would have spread the players and wooma about a bit.

Every city under attack would have been kewl :).

Still it did give us something else to do for a while and you cant really knock that :)

After the lag which made the game unplayable in the WT entrance lobby in the pre-event warmups, I decided (along with most of the rest of my guild), to do ST B7 instead (taking advantage hopefully of a quiet room)...

We got to the stairs from TacticalMaze to B7 before we all got lagged out (ie. nobody could move at all, followed by people disconnecting due to error 10000), with a few people dying and showering pots for added fun :-(

Our hunt ruined, I decided to take a peek at the event in case I was being unfair about it. I wasn't. Intermittent lag in Woomyon made it painfully slow to try and find the spawns (at level 27 I really shouldn't have to be scared of Yeti ffs), and as soon as you entered the screen with the 20+ flamers, the game just froze - cue next error 10000 disconnect.

It might have been halfway playable for warriors, who presumably can just click once on an enemy and let the server take over, but for wizards and taoists who have to be more responsive, it was a complete farce. The only good bit of the event was the frustrated shouting going on, example comments afterwards being: "well what a waste of time that was", "Its code 10000 day", and "wot a load of pants".

Why not introduce the event arenas of which we've all seen pictures, run it on a seperate server and for gods sakes test the bloody thing before inflicting it on us all.

I think this was Axen first event and he's trying to make the game good again as he knows well that it's not at its best at times.
