hi any1 know why im getting error

patch.exe &$#@(^^$(^$^%(^$"|":?'\;\'

when i run mir on win xp after i ok this error i get lots of warning boxes saying

data\objects.will cannot find file

after all those are gone the game music is on but no game any1 got any idea why its doing this thx

have you checked you have the file objects.will?

Reinstall mir and make sure you install ALL components

And also make sure your connected to the internet before you start the game becausse i got the same error

if that doesn't work i recommend you reinstall mir and make sure you install ALL components
This might get mir to work

mir will work on xp as im running it so best idea is to reinstall mir

I got exactly the same result when I reinstalled Mir on Saturday (clean XP install after a total wipe).

I also got a series of missing file warnings, however the game does play but half the sounds just aren't there - it actually sounds better....

I haven't had a chance to tackle the problem, but I seem to remember several people getting much the same thing (regardless of operating system) on clean installs on their first attempt. The advice was to reinstall again and it does apparently work.

i get the same message on windows ME but if i click on the game loads up anyway
