Telloxia Average Member Ireland 901 Posts	Posted - 01/05/2002 : 22:52:34 Today I leave mir, not because of lag, or because of pk'ers, but because of a much bigger plague spreading throughout mir. Hackers. I logged on today to people yelling at me,calling me a n00b pk'er, and asking why I dropped all my storage in bw. I suddenly went cold. I logged into mir, and saw no characters. I logged out, and waited for the lag to settle, logged back in. No characters. People, I'll be breif. I, Telloxia have been hacked, my characters taken from me. 1 week ago, I won the lotto in mir, and began getting a lot of mass drops, and only last night, a puri. I thought I had things going great, that things were finally going to be good for me. But a mind of pure evil, intent on stopping others fun took this from me. I dont see why I deserved this, I always helped people. I gave newbies pots and cash whenever I saw them, I hunt with people if they want me to, And I try to keep a good head on things. All this has been taken away, because of one person. Goodbye all, its been a great 6 months, I'll never forget all of you happy new year? I think not. Unhappy member of the "I was hacked" club

Hawkwynde Junior Member United Kingdom 492 Posts	Posted - 01/05/2002 : 23:05:49 It took me 5 months to get a lvl 35 warrior on Dragon and then I chucked it after the Malerin/Toobad thing. It then took me 12 days to get a lvl 25 warrior on Phoenix, (knowing where to level and which items to wear from the start really helps). All I'd say is sorry you were hacked, at least e-mail 'support', they may surprise you and get your characters back sooner than you think. And if they don't, if you've got any paid up time left at least give Phoenix a shot. (Noobs still get pk'ed in Border Town and Ginko, but only by low level idiots who aren't a problem once you get your ebony sword).
