If the amount of colours in Mir are increased then it would be really laggy, wouldn't it? But I suppose the makers have thought of this |

NOPEyou got the wrong end of the stick, if they increased colour depth it would be down to the client PC to display those extra colours, not the server, so as long as your machine was quick enough it would not slow the game down

OHOEM,just to be EXACT server has to tell the client what colours OTHER players have in their armours and stuff. It can be cached though, but needs to be refreshed from time to time. /Lippo ..........................................

Hi there,
as soon as Mir will go in 16Bit color Depth...the only "disadvantage" you'll have is that you have to spend more time to choose the color you like more.
Technically this means that we will have to add few new fields into the DB....and few more things...but from this to say that it will be more lagged....Not really....it won't increase lag *Vanishes Riding Back The Time*

Cool, what kind of stuff is in new upgrade, does anyone have any idea? Is it just 'colours' or is there going to be any changes to imporant things like obs, or chars stats?

Soon?! Christmas more like. The update set for the 10th of
October is pretty crummy with the only decent thing being the new quest system. The christmas update is the good one with new graphics
engine and new armour, but that is a long way off.
At least, thats how i read the news section, please correct me if im wrong because i bloody well hope i am

LLLAAAAGGGGGGGfuk the colours and how it looks, sort out the terrible lag. Everyone knows that the pings get lost in the teleglobe routers somewhere. FFS, sort out the LAGice. ps.
