Lust Junior Member United Kingdom 143 Posts	Posted - 12/18/2001 : 14:36:49 How does mir have a hope to survive? People stealing items from others, killing people for items. Attacking a brown, because they hit someone else, even if they were just messing around with a friend. The hacking situation is a disgrace. Friends stabbing friends in the back...whats the point? Yesterday i borrowed a few items from a friend so that i could get a Spell Brace on. My friend had to log before i had the chance to give them their items back, but it's okay i'd see them tomorrow. I log in this morning, and i'm fireballed. When i look to see who it was, it's a familair name, it's a n00b who attacked me in the mine becuase i shouted i got Gold Ore Purity 16. He only attacked me because i had a base dress on and no items. He thought i was lower. I later killed him and he got pissed said he would kill me again etc the usual babble. So i proceed to kill him. I was still white, he was brown not me. And then 2 people attack me, a warrior and a tao (dezmond and Kraken) Claiming he was there brother. They killed me, and unaware that i still had my friends items in my bag, i lost a ruby ring. Not my ring. I politley ask who got it and could i have it back as it wasn't mine. They both plead ignorance, saying i dropped nothing. ( i know one of them got it because at the time i'm the only person there.) I dropped a candle and 2 pots rt and a ruby. I know this because i always generally have the same items left in my bag after a hunt. The tao logs off. So i asked the warrior who is guild leader was, and he asks why i wanna know. I tell him why, he says ok. I ask so who is your guild leader. And he repeats why u wanna know...he was obviously **ing about. Then Kurrupt comes along and thrusts me to death and says damn bitch u didn't drop the other one. So now i owe someone a ruby ring, because of these s. I did NOTHING wrong, i never met these people in my life. It's my opinion that they never knew the person who attacked me. And that they think wow that n00b has good stuff lets kill her. I was killed (twice) for my items. Are items worth so much to people? I worked hard for everything i own in mir, why should some idiot be allowed to kill another person to get what they worked hard for? This game isn't dead because of the lack of support by GM's. It's dead because of the greed of players. And whats worse people aren't just pking for items, they're hacking for them. Toobad character is gone, and u have to wonder why bother hacking someone so nice? Oh yeah because he's ing Loaded. Because he was hacked now my tao has no Serpent Sword (Toobad had it), my mage is poor and will have to mine for a month to be able to pay back her friend for the ruby ring. Is there a point anymore? DoktaHGreen New Member 78 Posts	Posted - 12/18/2001 : 15:34:56 personnally i believe pking for items is acceptable... its pretty harsh when ur the one losing something but i think ppl in mir need to stop being sissies and start dealing with beef with more then words. the ahcking situation, though, thats a real disgrace. its even worst then when tyhere was speed cheat. i really think they need to do something about the hacking, but for the item you lost, its a very bad situation for you, but its part of the game.

(hocus pocus here) Kraken is my real dad and we were play fighting just outside storage a couple of hits that all. Then you decide to lightening bolt him rallying others as well. To this point my real dad (Kraken) had to rt, as he was carrying 8 bags of poison that i had just made for him in ginko tree valley. After my dad had rt'd my MIR brother came along (dezmond) i musta still been brown from playing with my dad so YOU kill me, i msged my dad and dezmond at which they became very agrivated. 2 minutes later you were dead. Had it ever occured to you that me or my dad may be carrying a ruby ring? And why would such a low lvl wiz try to PK some 1 while carrying 1? utter stupidity, and lastly you were yellow NE ways proving u do PK so i suggest you stop BiTch1n and grow up. I find it hard to beleive you were carrying any ring and to be honoust i dont give a hoot. To put it nicely.

And i was yellow when i logged on, and i'm sure whoever the n00b running around called schinoble4 is can verify because i asked if i could kill him to try and get my curse sword up to 9. (17 kills and still 8 ffs). Oh and if u find it hard to believe i was carrying no items, then explain to me how, straight after i died when your (now it's father, although he said brother in game) i put my items on in the safety area...if to yourbelief i was carry nothing where did i get the items from? Safety and storage are a long way away. And bill i couldn't RT i die in 3 thrusts from a lvl 25 warrior, a 30+ warrior and a tao with skele....i haven't even time to work out wtf was happening. One of u **s have that ring and until i get it back i am going to seriously make things hard for u guys in mir. You guild everything...i'm sick of this crap. TLB Junior Member United Kingdom 325 Posts	Posted - 12/18/2001 : 18:20:07 i saw the begining of this little episode as i was walking about, and i do find the dad thing pretty convincing, its not like it was a little excuse made up afterwards! wot i saw was one of these two hit the other and go brown, just messing out side of storage! a few people (lust included) started to attack him and the other shouted "dont thats my dad!" but people didnt stop till he managed to log off then come back on white again! i then saw them stood in a group near each other! then a few minutes later i see desire with a brown name, being fought back by the same too people, she then continued running back till in the safe zone where she turned out to have a yellow name! so er, say wot u want, but im just playing my part as a witness and saying exactly wot i saw happening --------- *TLB* Level 26 Mage *SPiRiT*

Then I remembered how you tried to pk me (exploiting the 'brown to everyone' bug(?)) anyhow you didn't succeed, I pretty much ignored your multiple T-bolts , that seemed to be annoying you more .If you are going to live by the sword, then dont cry when you die by it.

(lvl28+)
