Guys, can we have some peace so we can get on with our game please!Will you try to lock these posts that have nothing to do with Mir. I think we've all heard more than enough of DAoC, and if we wanted to be playing that ype of 3D game we'dbe playing EQ, Archeron's Call, etc. Maybe these guys aren't aware this game has been available for some time in the rest of the world and most of those that wanted to try it have done so already! Its only the European server that's new. Hawklord

Lol you sad loser "3D games" your mean you have a **** comp? No you fool most people on mir are european, and not many people are going to get a game imported from america which they havnt heard of. No if your going to play a MMORPG then you should play DAOC it is the best, the reviews say so. You obviously like things simple, mir is simple nothing to it in comparison to daoc simple pleasures simple people.What kind of a idiot dismisses something they havnt tried ? Lord Vader

LOL what a joke! Yeah my system sucks, its such a pain having a Dual PIII 700 system, the 512MB ram is never enough and I'm always running out of space on my twin IBM Deskstar 7200rpm 40gig drives! The GeForce card runs real slow with 64mb ram too! I take it that your appraisal of DAoC is about as accurate as your appraisal of my system? No doubt someone with your vast MMORPG experience has tried all the other games out there before deciding that DAoC is the best seeing as you have been playing it for sooo looong now! By the way, how long have you been playing DAoC now? Reviews? oh sh1t if the reviews say its great then it must be! You must be really experienced in this sort of thing, a lot more than my 5 years playing MMORPG's because I haven't learned yet that reviews were so useful and truthful to boot! You pathetic ****er. I have tried every single MMORPG I can get my hands on. Are you some kind of loser? You have little competitions with all your freinds to see who has the best computer? Your just pissed of you spent half your life on this game, when the people who own the european rights to it dont give a **** about it. Its going to hell m8. Move on. Lord Vader

I agree give it 2 weeks and the DAOC part should die down.
All I can say is I agree MIR is simple in comparison. The simple bits that MIR has DAOC has as well. The game 1 week in is superb and massive I still havent seen more than 1% of the map. You can still group and set up chat channels and you still level. There are 100's of quest and tasks. It is so easy to die as well. something that can't be said for MIR unless you have a death wish and wander down level 7's on our own. I haven't been back to MIR yet though maybe I will once I have played this game a few months. The atmosphere in DAOC is much greater and you will never have the arguments we have in MIR as you can only fight other realms and can't steal loot. I guess the simple analogy is if you like platformers punch kick kill, stay with MIR, if you want multi combination attacks go with DAOC. I think MIR is better suited for my kids than me (I'm 31). But I agree send your mates emails and let the MIR forum get back to MIR. Hi buddy, I agree with you that LoM is a simple game. It certainly is when compared to games like UP, EQ, Ac and perhaps even DAoC. The thing is that Diablo is also a simple game but that doesn't stop 1000's of people around the world enjoying it and many people don't like the 3D interface (like me). In fact, that interface tends to be more popular among the younger players than the old farts like us! (I'm 48) In term of richness of gameplay nothing comes even close to UO but after nearly 4 years I needed a break and found LoM to be nice and simple, no real thought required :) but with plenty of scope for improvement. Whether or not that happens is another matter but the thing is that this forum is not the place for people to spam about another game. Especially seeing as at $10.95 to $12.95 a month (that's US dollars, roughly 16-20 pounds a month!) most of these freeloaders will stop playing when it does go commercial anyway, God knows if they bitched about 10 euro's a month, they'll have a coronary at these prices! Then again they may have special pricing for the UK but I doubt it, games like UO and EQ all charge the same rate anywhere in the world and DA0C will probably do the same. One wonders what the DAoC players would say if in a month or two's time we started spamming on their forum about some new game! Sure it's ok to mention a game once or twice but this is becoming a like a news service for DAoC! Take it elsewhere guys! Hawklord
