A long time ago when our guild were shop pk'ing but everybody knew about it, a wiz came in and I hit him a couple of times then something occurred to me... I stopped and asked if he had any pets (even letting him bolt me whilst I type this out) and he replied that he had a level 6 tong and four level 5-7 maggots.

Doh... you think he wanna die and lose these?

Also during sabuk war Feroce's level 7 skelly got killed by one of us and he was very very very annoyed.

When I played as Quillian I didn't bother getting my skelly levelled up because it would usually die after being mobbed in LDC anyway, so I didn't think much of people killing my skelly but I learnt that taos are fiercely protective of their high level skelly and have a constant insecurity about them any time they rest them...

People understand this - I watched Smojukl's level 7 skelly in LDC get surrounded by tongs, talking 5 tongs 2-3 centis other bugs etc and it lasted so long that smo didn't start healing it until most of those bugs were dead. I was extremely impressed.

When it comes to lifedeathcoffin your skelly is what gives you greater chance of surviving in there yourself.

So I hope a lot of people will read this, and not just LUIGUI - who I'm sure just didn't think about your skelly else he would have left you alone.

I really don't get the shop-pk's stupid arguments "it's fun", "you don't drop anything", "you can do business when you're dead". All I want to do in a shop is sell my stuff and get on with playing. Lvl'ing skele again because of those pricks is frustrating.

Why is it that 99% of the highlvl shop-pk's are warriors & wizards?

Dont say you dont like to show of cuz u all do, u feel proud for achieving the level and want to show off, good, thats part of the game.

although i understand if u are a wiz or tao with leveled pets / familiar it can be really frustrating, cuz of the time needed to get them tamed / leveled. But i am sure Lui didnt know..

Getting whacked by a tbolt or dragonsword still does damage, and if you're wearing a Dura 1/3 CoralRing at the time you tend to get a bit worried about whether it will survive. And those extra repairs due to shop pk cost a lot of money, as players tend to do more damage than most mobs and some high lvl bosses.

Personally I treat anyone who tries to shop pk me in the same way as anyone who tries to pk me normally or drop stealers. (i.e. I will exact revenge at a later time and hope for a good drop in way of compensation).

Just get to know him. he would most likely help you.

Though i've never lost a lvl 7 skele (summon skele is lvl 2) i have lost a lvl 5 which i lvled exclusivly at BC, which is really hard.

i also hate people that hit at ur tamed mobs in safe zones to untame them, it pisses me off, lvl 3 oma fighter getting hit by fake n00bs to untame does my head in, 1, why dress like a n00b? 2, y untame? people dont realise that taming a mob can take anywhere between 3 shocks and 3 pots! show some respect for other players and get on with ur own game and let them get on with theres!

I knew people are going to start defending shop-pk'ing. I've no interest in having "fun" by shop-pk'ing, I'd MUCH rather go kill mobs with my friends.

So what if he has spent days on lvl'ing? Haven't we all? Does that give him the right to start killing people who just want to do business in the shop and be on their way? Why don't you go to an empty unused building and have fun with your buddies there, that doesn't harm anyone, except your equipment.

Problem is, for the most part, warriors/wiz's *sometimes* don't understand how you get a lvl7 skel (i.e. the work that goes into it, the cost involved and how to recognise a lvl7 skel). I certainly didn't but I do now.

I hadn't slept in the longest time and was in a sh1te mood and took my tiredness out on the tao and his lvl'd up skel. It started as a misunderstanding and then cos I wasn't thinking straight, I went a bit crazy. lol. I felt really bad afterwards and apologised to the guy and even offered to give him some rare tao items.

Anyways, the point of my post is that I made the mistake once, but never again. I got respect for everyone that plays, whatever claSs or level. I learnt from my mistake which is the most important thing.

Sounds like Luigui and smojukl could work this out in a decent way if there wasn't any swearing and name calling. At very best, at least don't talk to each other but be cool with each other.
