The problem with the internet is that it is populated by users like those above. These "people" do not believe that the ethic and moral values that we take for granted in the real world apply in the online world.

Now I assume that there are many reasons for this but in my opinion the main one is that they can remain anonymous and hide behind their screennames. The force that drives them to make such comments is that in their real lives they have no true sense of self, as a result of not having any power over there lives.

This lack of power, as they see it, lack of maturity as the rest of us see it, is usually caused by the fact that they are an early teen who is still ruled over by their parents (for obvious reasons) but they believe that they are mature enough to handle the "real world".

So to them the internet is an outlet as they can say what they like, and act in a way that would never be sanction by modern society, and not have to suffer the real world reprecusions of their actions.

So to summarise, dont bother taking any notice of these types of people, and dont let it get to you when they attempt to destroy you. Because at the end of the day each of every post of that sort is essentially also a cry for help.

With regards to Tellox making this post here in the first place, why not? You could argue that this is a gaming forum and it doesnt apply to the subject but (I havent counted) I could safely say 30% of the posts on this forum have nothing to do with MIR with the exception of one small thing - everybody that contributes to the thread is part of the MIR "community", damn that word again, we have heard alot about "community" recently. The situation that Tellox finds himself in is not a (no pun intended) a comfortable one, and the subject at hand might be difficult to discuss with peers and even more so with adults. So this forums gives him access to people of all ages and walks of life (unfortunatly this also includes the people mentioned above) where he can get advise and also sympathy. Which is what, right now, he needs alot of - And as a community we, without restraint, should offer it.

Get the law involed. I think you can get those bastards done for assault and you can sue them or get them locked up in Juvenile Offenders/Jail. I think this may be covered by GBH, but I am not sure. I really should have been a laywer.....
