This is a style of playing I understand well and enjoy on phoenix. But I never had any problems to pay for my equipment.

What I can't really understand is this begging around by some n00bs. I went to MW the other day finding a lvl 8 Tao in the city asking for money. I had encountered two lvl 10+ chars before asking for pots. Then another asked for money. Finally this IMHO out of place level 8 Tao asked the question u have 2k for me?

I always try to be helpful (even carrying more DEs with me, because it is the most asked item ) but this time I got tired of begging and said No.

You can't believe what followed. This n00b started complaining what I am a bad player, the talking about phoenix being kind is all lies and such.

I despise everything concerning PKing but this n00b showed me how it might have come to it the very first time.

I don't think being kind and helpful has anything in common with feeding up this born-to-beg characters running around in towns, but I would like to know your view of it.

Some newbies also annoy me, the ones that are pretty dumb! "can i have 5k pls I say "no, but take these items to sell and you'll get over 5k in gold, then they go onto say "no i want 5k" Grrrrr how dumb, how lazy and how annoying! lol

It was people like this that started my red days on Dragon!

I was AFK in MW minding my own buisness, eating dinner etc etc, keeping an eye on the chat, when low and behold a shout appears...

"Can Any Nice Person Lend Me 16k To Teleport To BW"

I casually ignored this and carried on with my dinner, this message was constantly ringing around MW for about 20 mins untill someone shouted back

"Why Dont You Just Run It Like We All Used To Have To"

to which he recieved a reply

"I Cant You Moron Im In A Hurry And Need To Get There Quickly"

Now this made me smile, as we all know that although a mission, it takes no more than 10 real minutes to run there killing as you go, I was AFK for a further 15 mins and still it went on, in the end I just teled to BC with a big grin on my face.

Give the guy his due, it was worth a go

I frequently help out noobs i meet in Ginko. Helping to lvl em to 7 or 8 and kitting them out.

But i will never help a begger.

It completely does my head in when they walk up to you and say
"gold pleeeze".

WTF i never begged once for anything and i never will. If i'm skint ill rather go kill deer to earn enough to buy an pickaxe and mine.

Beggers beware if you ask you get nothing from me. If i see someone in trouble i will help them out.

Personally i think the worst thing is when they walk up to you. Whisper "gold please" and open the damned transaction screen.

AAAARGH FFS AAAARGH

Btw has anyone got a Soul Spring Wand they dont want? I'm Skint but ill say thanks in a very polite way.
