Well lets hope they restore all our items (your first, cause i'm so nice ^_^) Sole Possesor Of The Super Duper GM Blade (With Extra Stats), And A Pare Of Special Shoes. TLB Junior Member United Kingdom 325 Posts	Posted - 12/08/2001 : 18:01:04 ok, ill show sympothy now, but sometimes the opposite happens to me, like i sell something, log off, come back and i have the money i got for it, plus wot i sold, bonus eh, its all lag based, so in your case max, uve lagged and left, but the server doesnt know uve left yet, and is still trying to tell ur getting hit in BC, then it tries telling u u died, so the server knows ur dead and thinks u know, then u log back in, with the server giving u wot items u didnt drop, and u think "wtf, i logged off and didnt die" but in my case, i sell stuff, and the server registered the money, but could register wot i sold, so i come back online, and the server tells me i still have an item in my bag, plus the cash, its simple really, the basics of how it works! of course this only hapened to me once, and was only a 2k item! ive also had RT's that wouldnt work, then logged off and in to find out that it was showing i had one, but in actual fact i didnt as it wasnt there when i came back --------- *TLB* Level 26 Mage *SPiRiT*

barns New Member 84 Posts	Posted - 12/08/2001 : 18:31:46 I sympathise completely, I borrowed a Great Axe Luck +1 from a mate, logged out and when I logged back in it was gone and I had gone back in time about ten minutes. He wasn't very happy and I felt VERY bad. E-mail Mir, I did and got a reply within a few days. However, they only wanted more details and they still havent restored the axe after more than a week...so don't hold your breath.

I've had my axe since level 26 and for me that was a long time ago as I level two characters. My axe is my buddy and if I lost it, my mir world would come crashing down and I'd get a bit depressed. I've been lucky so far. I was hacked and lost my axe which was dura 21 because I thought 'don't matter I'll get a Dsword soon so I won't bother doing a special on this' GM's replied and restored my items within just a few days and gave me full dura corals, helmet and Great Axe. Ever since I've taken care of my axe and I have never once done a normal repair on it. What I'm getting at is I feel incredibly sorry for Max because his means of levelling up has been taken away just like that because of a server error. This usually happens when the server sets you back a minute and you've just moved an item from one place to another: most cases one person to another. The server remembers your mate giving you a sword, but doesn't remember you receiving it as it's lost the data.. so your friend is without the item and so are you. I don't think max had moved his sword, and I don't think he was hacked either. This is a real screw up somehow. God knows... I'm sorry P.S. You're a member of HOG. To my knowledge she sent an email about it and has msged the gm's. Suprisingly nothing has happened about it yet. (sarcasm btw) As much as i hate to say it, I think ur gonna have to get urself a new one. But at least you'll know some little hacking s**t isnt out there using it. Sorry. LVL 29 Warrior Apex

Sometimes the items re-appear after doing that... I've not had that happen to me (losing items & getting them back) but I've read about it... Hope you get it back. Think before you post...

If there is anyone that said this happend...and I was to believe it w/o any reservations it would be from Max. I dont say this cuz he's my guildmate...I say it cuz hes an honest guy....nuf said. I would be freakin if it was me...and so is he. BUT...if for some reason he 'lag died' dropped it....but his relog doesnt show that...then there is a new dragon sword bearer runing round....that would be obvious. I havnt heard of anyone allasudden runnin round with one..have u? So hes bringing the subject here...proper channel i would think..and not to have ppl comin up with thier 'views' of what happend, unfounded. I would hope his putting this here...searching to see if anyone else has had this happen...is correct. Hopefully if it is a bug...info on it can be gathered by those stricken, and just maybe mir staff will look into it. I'm so sorry max :(

There must be logs of how many different types of weapon in game and if one goes missing such as a dragon it cant be hard to track down what happened to it. Thing is for once i actually agree with the Gm's(Archeon get the camera) because for once they aren't helping one person who forgot to repair his sword but are working for thousands in actually trying(But probably failing) in trying to get a patch out on time. Luckily i still had my old Great Axe in storage, but it doesn't feel the same... This is a major setback i feel, the 2nd disaster to occur since i started playing mir, as i was one of the 1st people to get hacked, pre-P2P i had recovered from that, as GM Mapo and Malerin investigated and restored my money and items. I hope u 2 can look into this and help me. The worst that could happen is if no one answers back. The least your could do is give me an answer of what the hell happened. It's as though we've been deserted as I've heard only starlight shouting goodnight once or twice in game and that's about it. Talk to us more like you used to. So much is so bad about this game yet a lot of people still play it every day because.. there's something... keeping us ... here... Our friends? For interaction this has to be one of the finest games in my opinion.
