am i the only deaf girl on mir would like to know if there are others out there as mention on legend of mir i am so come on mg me and make friends and tell me how u cope only just decided to go open abt it myself after 6 months and had alot of suport from my guild and others who know me

I can't even begin to imagine what it feels like to lose hearing... Good to hear (maybe wrong word) your getting support Hope your other senses get a huge boost to make up what you lost...

yeh i wouldnt even like to think about what it would be like to lose my hearing, they say being deaf is worse than being blind aint it?

im not that good at these kinda posts, but i wish u all the luk in the world and if i see u in game il be sure to give u a big mir hug

good luk wit everythin m8, if u need someone to talk to im always here (not that ud talk bout something like this to a guy who posts a bit on some forum, but if i see u in game we could go lvin together )

By the way I dont think warri0rpr0digy meant anything bad (just a joke that went wrong)and I bet he regrets posting what he did now. I would be 100% sure he didnt know about this thread. Oh and btw I play mir with no sound, your not missing anything

awww... i kinda know how it feels to be deaf.... i know that might sound weird... but i have a deaf cousin and i know sign lauguage to talk to him her.. we get on really well and there is planty of other things to do beside talk and i just want to say good luck for the future (although you proberly wont need any luck) message me in game if you wanna chat or something

ps... how do you turn off the sound in game?? my lag is real bad and i could do with a bit less

Hi merlin, i also think the sound is bad in mir, i turn it off too cos i hate it! i bet it is horrible being deaf, i would hate to be. i feel well sorry for u and all other deaf people. I know i aint that high a lvl, but i will come huntin with u if u want. if i see u online that is. What guild u in?

Hia Merlin,

I have known your deaf for a while now and I must say having to discribe sounds to you makes me laugh and think real hard for discriptions. So, how about it ppl, lets get some discrisption for Merlin together so she knows what she is missing. They are not great, but hearing a mag in the distance when you have no hp left still makes me shiver LOL, but how would you discribe that sound to her, me i said like runniong your fingers down a plastic comb.... makes you think eh?

Sounds for spells?
Sounds for creatures
Sounds for creatures dying?
Fighting sounds

I think she would aprricate it if we helped out with discriptions, maybe not but she can tell us what she thinks after she reads this.
I must admit that playing with merlin and her friend Ramerez has been fun, and i never got an invite to hunt with TB either LOL. how well, must get around and lvl up more.

More power to your arm Merlin and dont let anyone put you down for it, your better than most players who can hear, but run in and lure anyway!!
Anytime you want to go to BC again mate, Puncher is lvl19 now and cant wait to go hunting with you again, or me a wiz at low lvl 28 to help out.

I know how u must feel.
I am not deaf... but

I was at a rave party once and spaced out...
when i woke up i lost my hearing for about 10 minutes
and it was rally frightening... that endless silence
