I think this is amost certainly true. But it needn't be that way .It is quite possible to rollback the data yet preserve same the experience points /levels . All it would take is a fairly simple bit of export of the current user_ids and experiences and when rolled back re-apply using a fairly simple one-dimensinal SQL statement.

But i seriously doubt there is that amount of competence and desire to help users for that simple thing to happen. Mir Staff prove me wrong .. please ...

Hold on , i dont think they have really thought this through. They cannot just roll back the SQL data lock stock as that would as pointed out elsewhere completely remove inserted accounts . Accounts where Credit card of other transactions would have been made ( to external data sources .. who are not unlike LoM running a pig in a poke affair that this has become .. and they will DEFINATELY not be rewinding there servers .. LOL!!

so whatever happens there will have to be data manipulation to control those events [** no dont tell me we are going to get formum full of posts about people loosing accounts and waiting 2 be restored to play .. mmm *** LOL its so easy to be cynically or is that just 2 easy to see coming <G> ] so again I would say to Game online or whatever parent company is called . Since your DBA's are going to have to do this in a more controlled manner than a simple flat restore at Least preserve our hard earned experience points ??
