I have heard many ppl talk about hackers in the world of mir, and many people complaining about lost accounts and/or lost items bcos of these ppl. I have heard ppl complaining about hacked accounts and the chance of your account getting hacked, and most of the time I didn't belive the people who said their account has been hacked. I hought maybe they are being selfish and want GM's to revive items they never had in the first place, which is quite sneaky, but now I know what it feels like to be hacked. For some reason, even though my charecter wos a high lvl only a single item wos taken which at first seemed quite strange to me. I wondered why the hacker just didn't clean out my whole account. I was outraged at the fact that my most precious item had been stolen but then again greatful that my account had not been wiped or changed for some1 elses personal use. Then I heard some one on another forum (no names mentioned) talking of a small program that allows a single item to be taken with ease from a charecters account and his outrage at it. He did not go into much detail at all about the program because he had never used it and only knew of it. Is there any GM out there who can help me or at least is there any way possible to ensure that myself or no one else will suffer from the wrath pf these "Hackers"?Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust. |
