i'll be playing the DAoC euro-beta
and i'm sure it will quickly become the keeper of all my online time.
we'll see..

the support, updates, lag, etc.. certainly won't keep many around for long. especially with a masterpiece like DAoC available.

I'll be faithful to DAOC till something better comes along.

Right now LOM should be supported not snubbed by you guys when they need you the most! If you people actually want to see the better days of MIR running and bandwagon jumping would be a bit silly. If you want something in this game you gotta fight for it - which means supporting the game that you spent many months leveling. Give it chance perhaps?

And Lord there is already a Sci-Fi fururistic game like MIR, I saw it on rpgplanet.com somewhere

And i do se the point of leaving a lvl 32 warrior and a lvl 25 wizard, reason: MIR is boring atm and patch will only occupy us for a month maybe less.

IMO thats a bit of a 2 way thing. I'm sure theres a load of people out there willing to contribute their ideas, opinions, and gripes, and really tell the GM's what they think. But the GM's need to show they are willing to listen and act on these ideas, or it's a total waste of time.

I've already seen another online game I played die due to the people who run it ignoring their userbase..

I'd like to see mir live on in glory - and some of the ideas they have planned sound great, but if the past couple of nights lag is anything to go on.. well.. heh..

I had my reservations about the game, i thought mir was the nuts. And it is - a small pair of old wrinkly sweaty nuts. Mir is dead for me, the new patch may bring some good little bits but like the last patch - how long did that last? a week maybe - then we were all bored again. This no support thing is that biggest concern though.

I still havent played for a day, only like 4hrs total, BUT, thats enough to see how crap MIR is.

There is soooo many things in that game, wil take you months to get bored, not to mention it gets updated almost every 2 weeks or less.

All the guilds in your own realm are friends and allies, instead of a guild hunt you can make Realm hunts which is basically loads of guilds and lvl 15's attacking another realm, imagine SabukWar and multiply it by 20, thats what its like.

Instead of me having to shoulder dash people who ask me for a dance I can just type: \dance and my char dances, muhahahah

If you have a g/f in game instead of *kiss* u can \kiss and your char blows a kiss.

The game is DA bomb, and for all the people who think the graphics are crap is because the screenshot you saw was probably taken on a 8MB Graphics, 500mhz, 128RAM computer, run it on a computer like mine 1.1Ghz, 576MBRAM, 64MB Graphics and it looks a hell of a lot better.

If you have a crappy system and want to play DAOC then I'd recommend you upgrade or keep playing LOM.

For all the people who have told me in game the game looks crap, then its your call, I wont be missing the fun, you are going to Isnt that right SLice????

Over one weekend i've now seen 3 high level players leave and thats just the ones I know of, the paid GM's need to wake up soon or they wont have anything left to save. In my own case I was already looking at AC before DAOC was ever mentioned, I really like this game but updates need to be monthly minimum. Take Asherons,when too many people based thereself in a village that wasn't intended to be camped there was an invasion by mobs and the village turned into a dusty crater. This is what Mir needs,they need the woomas to be thrown out of the temple into WW by a new super mob or something similar.

Im always one to tell the staff what they're doing wrong, Im also willing to help them by complaints - like you and everyone has done.

But how many of you actually filled in any bug reports and emailed the staff about your problems? I would say very little!

Th reason why MIR staff are not as upto scratch as what they should be is coz they're probably working hard to get this update to you and to pull the community back together by giving them what they want.

Is it too much to ask to at least wait around until this, the next real update before jumping onboard another game so soon? If you pulled together now and give the MIR staff benefit of the doubt and show some support you might be surprised - as MIR shows so much potential to become one of the best games around.

Take a look towards the Korean side of MIR - they all have it sorted and in due time so will we. Patience lacks in the eyes of Horus

No matter what you guys wanna do - good luck! But...Im giving MIR 100% support and will not snub them for any other game until they actually do let us down with this next update. As this update should set MIR ablaze once again.

I for one can I only hope it does!

I'll be here, at least until I give the next patch a chance to settle in. If it does not fix some of the basic problems (like LAGGGG), or it creates tons of new and interesting problems I'll be moving on.

Overall, I've really enjoyed my playtime here (I've been playing since Dragon had ~300 at peak time) and I think MIR has lots more to offer... I just hope the staff can pull it together before Phoenix looks/acts like Dragon.

*Oh yes thats where i was going with this post*

I did send MIR 2 e-mails to the same address one with a complaint about an ingame matter and one complaining about there service.

And one about how I felt about the game in its current state and asking them why they did nothing to sort out the problems and why they did not show to there customers that there was actually anyone working in there office!

Well they sent me a 1 liner to answer my first e-mail and I never got an answer/responce to the other, and they where both sent on the same day shortly after each other.

I have given time and got nothing back it looks to me like they all went out to lunch about 2 months ago and never came back!

Oh exept some one stumbled in the office to update the guild page!

Well ill be fighting for that highest lvl Taoist place too guys so
dont be taking it too easy

On the other hand if the New patch is still not here soon after Christmas,i will have to reconsider.
I do not intend to fork out for another 6 months on promises
of 'it might be better'.

I intend to keep my options open as i have met a lot of good peeps
on Mir and continue to do so on a daily basis. My only worry is if
Everybody buggers off to DAOC where will that leave the last few
diehards like Marshfarmer and LordNicon and me.

Anyway i have yet to kill ZT so i cant leave yet.

Lets just hope the new patch helps to turn the games future around
and people decide to stay in numbers.

I will however be checking the DAOC out as it may prove to be a viable alternative.

Who knows maybe we can all meet up in the future in the War
between Mir and Camelot lol.

Anyway whatever you all decide i hope you all have a great time. I will probably end up trying to play both games so dont think any of you are getting rid of me.
