Yep, you heard it, I cheated.. (one way of getting your attention)I didn't obey any of the so called rules:
- I was nice to ppl
- I didn't ask ripoff prices from ppl for items with one extra stat
- I gave ppl stuff I could use myself
- I gave ppl money without expecting anything in return except a word of thx
- I talked to ppl I hardly knew without using ANY swearwords
- I didn't accuse everyone with a better connection than me of speedcheating
- If someone hit me I walked away without flaming that person with swearwords and asked him why, or plz don't.. (believe it or not ppl this actually works, I've started a n00b and got her to lvl 19 only getting pked once and I even used the name ZumaTaurus for that n00b so it was an invitation to PKing)
- I never killed anyone without a good reason (war) (except for that one crap SFB aim in BW that hit a n00b instead of someone that was hitting a m8 of mine.. soz bout that)
- I spoke to ppl that were going to leave and convinced some of them to stay. And for what??
To have all my m8s leave anyway??
All the ppl that I have come to respect (even if I don't agree with all their decisions over time) left.
The ppl that are left are pointing fingers to the so called corrupt GM's and accusing each other of cheating just because they do a little better.
The reason I was still here is that I believed that the hardcore group of TheUndecided could make a difference in this mir world, show ppl that the decadence is limited to a few rather than the many.
But what I have seen the last couple of weeks is that apparently I might be wrong.
ppl are accused of thieving by us because our definitions of who a drop belongs to are different. Fair enough, we think you were thieves, you think we were falsely accusing you. Differences of opinion are the common factors in wars and they happen.
In real life this looks silly. In mir it is necessary for a diversion from the boring lvling. (same difference of opinion happened in the KR with TheReCreation and CT..)
The fact that one of the most prominent ppl in mir left because he was threatened with character deletion which subsequently happened (server error or not) shows the wrongs in mir society. I've just been too blind to see it.
Some ppl in mir have sunk to an amazing level in mir, accusing ppl of racism, cheating or being favoured by a GM is the only way they can still play mir because they can't stand anyone doing a little better than they are.
"OMG, YOU KILLED ME, U MUST HAVE BEEN HELPED BY A GM OR YOU WERE SPEEDCHEATING, COZ YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY KILL ME, YOU ****"
This is something I see all too often in mir.
It's quite amazing any of us regular ppl still play..
What I am most afraid of is that some of those ppl are like that in real life.
PS: Omkron or Omnikron or whatever your name is, this was sarcasm, I do not know how to cheat before you send me another mail .. (I made a sarcastic remark about how I copy black necklaces all the time by killing zombies over and over.. he didn't get it apparently )
