Hi.

Splash Plastic is not currently available, but should be introduced soon!

In the mean time, start moaning at your parents to pay with their credit card, they will give in sooner or later.

Two things- check the splash platic website to get a splash plastic card http://www.splashplastic.com/ and see if you can get a debit card from your local bank. make sure its a debit card with a Visa sign on it and NOT A SOLO CARD. SOLO cards suck. You can't use them on the net, and shops don't believe they're yours.

Logic is all well and good, but it can't beat pure thoughtGo to Top of Page

Plus, if you get a debit card (or a splash plastic card eventually) you'll be able to use the credit card payment option and it'll only cost you around £6 (roughly $4) for the 1 month option instead of having to fork out for the 3 month option.

Ok, in answer to the question 'What is Splash Plastic' I will explain what it is and what it does!

Ok, Splash Plastic is only available in the UK, and it is a kind of credit card. You do not need a bank account to use it, because it works a lot like pre-pay mobile phones!

All you do is take you card and some cash to a shop where you can top-up and tell them to put the money on your card! They will swipe the card and put the money on it, but remember to get a reciept! Some shops I know will do anything to con kids!

You then, after topping up your card, go and shop online! As they don't use a bank account, your savings are safe! And it can all be done online!

You go to http://www.splashplastic.com to register and get a card. Your details are only temporary then, as this is just for sending the card out to you! Then, when you get the card, you register the card and they will activate your account. After that, put some money on it (£10 is the minimum) and go shopping!!!
