Well, i think its time for me to quit, but before i go off into the night heres a few things id like ya all to consider..As an afterthought, i apologise for the length of this post :) Well its no mystery to us all that mir aint exactly a great game, but before i go heres a few things ive noticed during my time in the land of Mir. First of all the lack of objectives in the game..at present the main objective of the game is to level up, but when you get to a point trying to level up becomes more of a chore than anything else. Personally i like to play a game whice is fun, and which has achievable objectives, but personally i dont have the time to spend 24hrs a day playing mir in a vain attempt to level up and consequently it takes me a good 2 weeks to gain a level which i find more boring than fun. This isnt helped by the fact that the best place to level up is the mines, i mean when you consider 4 zombies = 1 zuma guardian then you've gotta say there is somethin wrong with the experience points in this game, i can solo 4 zombies and barely lose any hp, whereas soloing a zg takes me between 3 - 6 large hp. I mean whats up with that?? The other problem i find is that after spending an age leveling up, i have nothing new, with one skill every 5 levels or so there really isnt much to look forward to after you level. Compared to MUD's and other rpg's ive played where there is at least one new skill a level to keep things interesting this game really has nothin to keep you interested. At first I thought maybe the quests would provide somethin to aim toward, but after collecting around 80 spider teeth and receiving a sun pot i gave up on that idea. I mean is it so hard to make some achievable goals? Another issue i think needs to be dealt with within Mir is to do with items. This game breeds competition and greed, too much basis is put on the items people wear and rather than helping each other and working as a community gamers in Mir seem to be more intent on ripping each other off so they can get ahead. If you ask me this game is completely opposite to what it should be with more emphasis being put on more skills rather than more items. Obviously it is nice to have some rare items in the game, but there would be a lot less competitiveness in game if all items and skill books were in shops and say you had to achieve lvl 3 in "one handed weapon skills" to use a certain weapons say. The other main issue is that of pking, i mean is there really a point to it? People go around pking n00bs because their bored, because there is nothin to do in this game! how is Mir meant to build up a future community if n00bs get killed every 2 seconds, what sort of attraction does that hold?? Anyway, ill stop there as this post is getting way too long Goodbye all!!! SweetrabbitWe are the nobodies, wanna be somebodies |
