Doesn't show your smiley or chaged font until you post your message. If doing smiley's just put the code down for it, it will look odd but once posted bingo you have your smiley.

You can also use that preview button to see what your message looks like before you post it. You'll have to refresh the Preview window with F5 each time you use it, excluding the first use.
