Hagan: powerful centralized military country ruled by Khan

A military country ruled by strong strength & power. Owing to steep mountainous land shape and severe climate, the characteristic features of people were harsh and stout too. The country has some tundra belt that snow remains all year round because of many plateau and location of northern part. Thanks to steep land form it could not developed farming very well instead of that hunting is become their main axle in their economy on the basis of various animal inhabited in vast region.

The cause of establishment of strong country like this barren land that has not sufficient resources except rare ore, lumber, animal fur was existence of one prominent hero. The tribe that has many tough and strong young men manages to their life by doing mercenary in other city. The brave acts of these soldiers were to be well known to another cities so they could come to supply hired soldier to that cities.

Just at that time there was one young man who regret about this realities of life that they had still small power owing to scattered over small village. After all this brave and intelligent young man succeeded in making strong military country while he had making a round of calls to every village and persuaded some people by his peculiar eloquence and personality or by force.

Founded on strong military power they conquest surrounded cities and built up present Hagan country. Hagan ruled by a Khan. Under the Khan there were 2 ruling classes named the military and the merchant.

As the founder of country is military power so the soldiers had grasped main power structure. But actually the country was to be run by merchant class. These merchants were in charge of securing food and goods which is insufficient in their country by trading fur, jerked meat and precious stuffed animal gained by processed with other country.

And as the most of territory was mountainous area so ore also became their important exporting goods. Both the military and the merchant conflicted for their basic character and way of thinking is different but they know the opponent party was necessity for their existence. Sustaining strong military power was on account of flourish trading on the contrary the cause of predominance in trading with other country was on account of invisible pressure of powerful military force.

Successive Khan concentrated their whole power to prevent collision and to reconcile both parties. As you can see because their land is difficult to self-support so they always have yearned about fertile land. For that purpose they have execute conquest war. They secure bridgehead to escape from mountainous area by merging small countries but due to the union of surrounded countries worrying about excessive expansion of Hagan and the existence of adjacent Ner race they could not expend any more but just waited for a chance. But actually the strongest saboteur existed in their inner part.

The merchant class, worrying about decrease of their relative influence if the military class had economic power occupying fertile land of southern part, had maneuvered secret operation to preserve present confrontation. These had passed over military secret to opposite country.

They hesitated for a while about progress for some matters as like internal secret strife, external curbing and active moving of Mobs of late but they still remained as an apple of discord for advancing southwards.

Life

Had lived in coarse and barren environment they had strong body and character. The strong man is treated at first because they think the sword is stronger than the pen so playing for children consists of mainly training program of physical strength. The private life of general citizens was totally controlled such as they could not coming and going to other cities without permission and lived in moderate and self-restraint life like soldier.

This trend was soaked into building that there were many solid but crude buildings. From this aspect all cities look like fortress. But the cities that the merchant live had different aspect from common cities. The castle walls and army barrack were same with other cities but it showed splendor & beauty in their own way. Comparing with other closed and slack cities that could see seldom people on the street these cities were more free and energetic.

Religion

Due to characteristic of living style, the thing that had strong power was to be worshiped by people. On account of these reason, they worshiped animal that has unimaginable power as the object of envy and religion. But starting war with Mobs the worship of animal disappear instead of that they worshiped Khan who was their absolute leader as person who was baptized from war god. From this reason we can show the aspect of the unity of the church and state that the Khan supervise ceremony for god. But the religion could affect relatively little influence to society.
