Jebaek: as the country located in southern part of vast plain occupying most of land.

They had developed agriculture from ancient time owing to having fertile quality of the soil and abundant water source. They have also big population comparing with other countries.

Developing faster than any other region on the basis of abundant labor force and geographical merit the culture bloomed from long time ago. Thanks to the opulent life, they developed high quality study on spiritual world over practical study and they started to regard delicacy and magnificence as important thing in the realm of clothes, architecture and earthenware.

Their character was placid and warm. They consider the pen is more important than the sword. So their military quality was inferior to that of surrounded country but they tried to fill up that gap producing various new weapons by using new technology. Even though they are damaged by unfair pressure from surrounded country due to weak military power but ministers of government try to escape war by bribing to opponent.

This is an egoistic judgment to maintain present situation. That was come from not thinking of their military difference but protecting their power and wealth from war. The people deploring their country because they feel shame about their attitude of bow ones head to other countries come together to make union of advocator of war.

However civil official thought the union that was mainly made by military officer as ambition to take over regime. So the minister of government reinforced their supervision against this union and did not give up reconcile other country by bribe of money and material.

These Jingoists disappointing about movement of government started to expend their influence by joining their hands with dissatisfactory power around them.

Life

Owing to affluent life caused by mild climate and surrounding, the main stream of culture was generally gorgeous feeling. The every aspect including the necessaries of life or architecture was developed by skill of vivifying decoration and pattern rather than function. But life was so opulent as there was a tremendous gap between the rich and the poor. That was social problem too.

Religion

As agriculture was the principal axis of economy, the religion subject to rain, wind and sun was developed from long time ago. Their spiritual standard got high. When they advanced in learning fast and made progress in studying about natural phenomena the worship on nature and god gradually shrunk. As the curiosity on birth, age, illness and death had increased due to enhancing ones capacity for living, the Taoism considering regimen and spiritual culture as important thing had developed.
