June 14, 2001 — First of all, we wish to thank you all for the feedback you're giving us on bug reporting and suggestion... Keep up the work to make Mir even better!
Secondly we addressed some of the most common bug and request we received via email. Here we start:
- Font Visualisation Error/No Font displayed in the game: some users reported us missing in game font or font visualisation error. It seems that CTRL + F command is not cycling correctly through available fonts. In order to solve this problem you can put the preferred font manually. To do so: 1. Open mir.ini file, located in the installation dir, with a text editor. 2. Add the line (if not present) FontName=Arial (or other preferred font)
Anyway we suggest you to use Arial font unless you got problem in visualisation (these may depends from different video card manufacturer)
- Playing Mir under firewall: in order to play Legend of Mir under firewall you have to open specific port on the firewall itself, please refer to your network administrator to do so. Here's the port list you need to open: 7000, 7050, 7100, 7200~7210
